WHY FACTORY DIRECT FILTRATION

Confidence Without the Pressure

Choosing a water treatment system should not feel confusing or uncomfortable. We take the time to explain your options, answer your questions, and help remove the mystery so you can make an informed decision with confidence.

We are a local family-owned and operated business—not a national franchise. Our customers are also our neighbors, and our reputation depends on treating people fairly before, during, and after the sale.

DIRECT DELIVERY. PRACTICAL GUIDANCE.

No expensive showroom and no commissioned in-home sales presentation. More of the purchase goes toward the equipment and support.

FOCUSED SUPPORT FOR OUR CUSTOMERS

We prioritize service and ongoing support for the systems we sell and support. We do not currently offer general repair service for equipment purchased from other companies.

FACTORY-SELECTED WHOLE-HOME WATER TREATMENT

HERO SERIES

The Hero Series combines catalytic carbon and ion-exchange softening media in a whole-home system selected for local municipal water conditions. It is designed to reduce hardness and improve chlorine/chloramine taste and odor. Actual performance depends on source-water conditions, system sizing, flow rate, water use, installation, and maintenance.

Catalytic Carbon

Helps reduce chlorine and chloramine taste and odor, giving the water a cleaner, fresher feel before it reaches the softening media.

10% Crosslink Resin

A premium softening resin selected for enhanced strength and durability compared with standard 8% resin, particularly where chlorine exposure is a concern.

High-Density Garnet Support Media

Creates a stable support bed and promotes even water distribution through the treatment media.

Three Configurations

Hero systems are available in 1, 1.5, and 2 cubic-foot configurations. System sizing depends on household occupancy, plumbing size, peak flow demand, hardness, disinfectant level, water use, and available installation space. We confirm the configuration before purchase.

High-Efficiency Reverse Osmosis | Pentair GRO Membrane

Reverse Osmosis System

High Efficiency, Low Waste GRO Membrane Technology

Practical Drinking Water Option

A practical under-sink option for producing high-quality drinking water at a dedicated faucet.

GRO Membrane Technology

The Pentair GRO membrane is designed for higher recovery than conventional residential RO membranes. Under Pentair’s specified laboratory conditions, nominal recovery is 50%—approximately one gallon of product water for one gallon sent to drain. Actual recovery and output vary with incoming pressure, temperature, dissolved solids, feed-water quality, tank pressure, configuration, and maintenance.

How Reverse Osmosis Works

A practical under-sink option for producing high-quality drinking water at a dedicated faucet. Reverse osmosis uses water pressure and a semipermeable membrane to reduce dissolved solids and certain contaminants. Exact reductions depend on the complete system, its certified performance claims, source-water conditions, pressure, temperature, installation, and maintenance. Ask us for the performance data sheet for the system offered to your home.

FACTORY-DIRECT BUYING OPTIONS

Choose the Way You Buy

Many premium water treatment systems have traditionally been sold through plumbing contractors, dealers, home shows, or in-home sales presentations. Factory Direct Filtration offers another path.

Independent Local Installation

We maintain relationships with independent local plumbing contractors familiar with water-treatment equipment. Upon request, we can provide their contact information so you can speak with them directly and decide which installer best fits your needs.

DIY Installation Support

If your home already has a suitable plumbing loop, we can provide step-by-step product guidance throughout your installation. If no suitable loop exists or plumbing modifications are needed, we recommend speaking directly with an independent local plumber.

Resale Customers

Direct purchasing is also available for qualified resale customers who need access to dependable equipment and straightforward support.

EDUCATION WITHOUT THE SALES DEMONSTRATION

No Scare Tactics. No Gimmicks.

We do not build our sales process around a free in-home water test or an elaborate demonstration designed to create urgency. We believe educated customers make better decisions.

For homes receiving municipal water, we consider the water conditions commonly reported throughout the Tri-State area and select equipment accordingly. If your home has unique conditions—such as a private well or a specific water-quality concern—we will discuss the appropriate next step honestly.

Important Clarification

This approach does not mean testing is never useful. It means testing should be used when it is genuinely needed to identify an unusual condition—not as a high-pressure sales tool.
